2020 Grad Collection
My final year project is inspired by research trips to Italy and Portugal, the colourful island of Burano informing my colour palette whilst the tiles typical of Lisbon inspired my choice of pattern giving a strong yet free flow to my created pieces.
The prime inspiration for my work was the repurposing and reuse of once useful but now discarded climbing ropes. These ropes in conjunction with surplus Fairfield yarns enabled me to create colourful and structural weaves suitable for a variety of interior purposes.
